Job summary

Dornan Engineering Group in Cork is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its Agnostic Division, supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure projects across Europe.

You will design electrical systems for data centres, work with clients and multidisciplinary teams, review drawings, and assist with pre-construction and project planning. Occasional travel to sites across Ireland, the UK and Europe may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with 2–5 years of post-graduate experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, engineering principles and project delivery.
• Experience in pre-construction, design or project engineering environments is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong technical, problem-solving and communication skills with a delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of electrical systems for large-scale data centre and critical infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to develop practical, buildable engineering solutions.
• Provide technical input across the project lifecycle, focusing on pre-construction, design development and technical coordination.

Based in Cork, this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Agnostic Division as an Electrical Engineer, supporting the delivery of our Critical Infrastructure projects across Europe.
