Electrical Design Engineer

A Tier 1 Main Building ContractorDublinis seeking anElectrical Design Engineerto join their M&E team to handle design-coordination. Our client in looking for an Electrical Engineer coming from a design office and will provide full training on getting up to speed with design coordination. This role is ideal for candidates with about 5 years electrical design experience.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage environmentally focused electrical designs across projects of all scales
• Integrate daylight analysis, overheating calculations, and other environmental performance criteria into electrical system designs
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable and efficient building solutions
• Maintain high levels of client care, quality control, and project cost management
• Attend client meetings, site surveys, and provide technical input during key project stages
• Collaborate across offices to ensure consistency in environmental and electrical standards

Requirements

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in electrical services design
• Strong communication and coordination skills
