Job summary

Global Professional Consultants Ireland is seeking an Electrical Authorised Person to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor for a Data Centre project in Sweden. The role involves working closely with Site Management to establish Electrical Safe Systems and overseeing High Voltage safety compliance.

Electrical Authorised Person – 13285

Electrical Authorised Person required to join one of Ireland’s largest Tier 1 Main Contractors to work on a Data Centre project in Sweden. The Electrical Authorised Person will report into the Senior Authorised Person.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate early with Site Management on the Electrical Safe Systems of Work Procedure as directed by the Lead Appointed Person.
• Ensure workforce awareness and compliance with Electrical Safe Systems of Work.
• Issue and manage permits for Energised working activities.
• Review project specifications and drawings to extract specific requirements.
• Follow strict operational procedures and adhere to High Voltage safety rules; oversee equipment start-up and testing, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or an Electrical Trade.
• High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) Authorisation Training from an accredited provider.
• At least 3+ Years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects is essential.
• Experience working on LV, MV or HV systems.
• Electrical Testing and verification experience.
• IT Skills – Microsoft Office Packages.
