Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join the site EHS team in South-East Ireland on a 14-month contract. You will support and develop Environmental, Health & Safety programmes, ensuring regulatory compliance across operations.

Working closely with manufacturing and technical teams, you will conduct audits, risk assessments and improve EHS systems while promoting a strong safety-first culture across the site. Experience in regulated manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or a highly regulated environment.
• Broad knowledge across EHS disciplines and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience supporting projects and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and continuously improve site EHS programmes and systems.
• Provide practical EHS guidance across manufacturing activities.
• Ensure compliance with Irish legislation and environmental requirements.
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Support plant, equipment, process and project-related EHS activities.
• Work with operational teams to identify and implement improvements.
• Maintain high-quality EHS documentation, reporting and records.
• Promote a strong safety-first and environmental culture across the site.
