FRS Recruitment in Cork is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to join the site EHS team. Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will focus on managing third-party contractors and ensuring safe, compliant execution of works on site.

The role covers permit to work management, risk assessments, safe systems of work, and life-critical controls, with opportunities for career development within a well‑established manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work or equivalent.
• Proven experience in EHS/Health & Safety in manufacturing.
• Experience with Permit to Work / Safe Work Permit systems is essential.
• Experience coordinating third-party contractors on a manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

• Issue Safe Work Permits / Permit to Work for maintenance and projects.
• Coordinate and monitor third-party contractors for EHS compliance.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and SWMS before work.
• Ensure PPE, site procedures, and life-critical controls are followed.
• Support safety investigations and incident reporting.
• Monitor EHS performance via site KPIs and action plans.
• Support Management of Change and development of safe procedures.
• Support environmental compliance including waste and wastewater.
