Job summary

E-Frontiers is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator for a major data centre project in Ireland. You will drive Environmental, Health & Safety standards across the site, coordinating with project teams, contractors and the EHS function to ensure compliance with legislation and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in an EHS/HSE/Safety Coordinator role is essential.
• Experience in data centres, critical infrastructure, construction, MEP or high‑risk environments is required.
• Strong understanding of construction health and safety requirements.
• Experience conducting site inspections and safety audits.
• Experience with risk assessments, method statements and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with contractors and management.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving EHS issues.

Responsibilities

• Support the EHS Manager in implementing the site EHS management system.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations.
• Identify hazards and unsafe practices and ensure corrective actions.
• Assist with risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Monitor compliance with site rules, permit-to-work systems and EHS requirements.
• Support investigation of incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings and EHS inductions.
• Monitor contractor compliance with EHS requirements.
• Maintain accurate EHS documentation and records.
• Prepare weekly and monthly EHS reports and statistics.
• Track corrective actions through to close‑out.
