Job summary

Coca-Cola Ballina seeks a Safety, Regulatory & Environment professional to support the Safety, Regulatory & Environment Manager in ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in environment and workplace health and safety at Ballina. The role involves implementing and auditing the Safety Management System (SMS), coordinating with contractors, and delivering training.

It is a 12-month temporary contract with opportunities to contribute to environmental programs and operational

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health or related field required.
• Related industry experience preferred (chemical, pharma, beverages or IPPC).
• Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) to enable compliance with legislation and ISO45001.
• Collaborate with employees and contractors on SMS administration, audits and training.
• Support management of COMAH and major accident hazards programmes.
• Implement safety improvements and initiatives aligned to business plans.
• Deliver training programs for managers and associates and support S&LP activities.
