Job Description:

Corrib Oil Group is one of Ireland's fastest growing forecourt retailers. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deli Manager based in our Fermoy Store.

The successful candidate should have managerial experience, preferably in a forecourt environment. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression.

Reporting to: Site Manager

Responsibilities include:

  • Autonomy in the day-to-day running of Subway.
  • Work within the guidelines set by the Head of Fresh Food and Area Fresh Food Advisors.
  • Ensure food is prepared to high standards.
  • Operate the Subway counter in line with food safety & HACCP legislation.
  • Follow Subway recipes and guidelines to meet sales and contribution targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage labour, stock control, ordering, and margins according to procedures.
  • Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing within budget.
  • Develop staff through training and support.
  • Monitor staff health and motivation, handle staff issues professionally.
  • Assist with health inspections and audits.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager for smooth store operations.
  • Flexibility required due to 7-day operation.
  • Require strong organizational skills, communication, and customer service commitment.
  • Management experience in retail food environment is advantageous.
  • Relevant professional qualifications are beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
