This is a remote position.

Intecfy is recruiting a .Net Fullstack Engineer (Freelance / Remote) for our client, a fast‑growing Irish provider of pay‑as‑you‑go electricity, gas and broadband services. Headquartered in Dublin and employing close to 500 people, the company has been recognised for five consecutive years by Great Place to Work Ireland. Its digital platforms give customers real‑time control over their energy usage, costs and the tech team is expanding to support new features and scale.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain back‑end services in C# / .NET 8, build and refine REST APIs
  
• Manage SQL Server databases with Entity Framework
  
• Implement responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (experience with Angular, React or Vue)
  
• Apply best practices, SOLID, design patterns and ensure quality through unit tests (xUnit, NUnit, Moq) and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  
• Investigate and resolve production issues in collaboration with Operations, Sales and Customer Support teams
  
• Contribute to an established Scrum process, participating in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience as a .NET full‑stack engineer
  
• Strong knowledge of the full software development life cycle, Git and peer code reviews
  
• Proven expertise in REST API design, Entity Framework and T‑SQL (queries, stored procedures, indices)
  
• Independent, proactive work style with clear communication skills suitable for remote collaboration
  
• Located in Europe within ±2 hours of Central European Time
  
• Desirable skills: Angular, LINQ, RabbitMQ or Azure Queue Storage, Confluence, Docker, Microsoft Azure
