Day Activities Facilitator in the Autism Services

Location: Limerick City and West Limerick

Contract: Permanent Full-Time

Salary: Basic Instructor 13-point scale €35,081 - €50,864 (pro-rata)

The Role of an Instructor

You will work as part of a team to develop and implement programs tailored to the individual needs and abilities of the people supported. The welfare and wellbeing of service users are our top priorities. The role requires professionalism, the ability to work with individuals who have learning disabilities, and a belief in their right to live and participate equally in the community. Skills in conflict resolution and understanding diverse viewpoints are essential.

Essential Qualifications
  • A third-level qualification relevant to services for individuals with intellectual disabilities or, at minimum, a QQI Level 5 Major Award in community development, health, or education.
  • A Full Manual Driving License valid for driving manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads.
