Join a leading Mechanical contractor in Dublin as a Senior Health and Safety Officer, providing oversight and guidance for EHS teams on major projects. This role is ideal for an experienced safety professional seeking a strategic position with excellent career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
2. Continuously review and update company safety protocols and risk management procedures
3. The Health and Safety Officer will deliver Safety Induction Training for new site staff and maintain records
4. Investigate and document incidents, implementing corrective actions swiftly
5. Ensure mandatory safety training requirements are met on schedule
6. Enforce PPE policies and review subcontractor safety compliance
7. Support health and safety meetings and provide accident data for insurance

Requirements:

• Degree in Health & Safety or related field coupled with 8+ years experience
• Background with a Mechanical or Engineering contractor is an advantage
• Health and Safety Officer must be flexible to travel across various sites in Dublin
