Job summary

Unipharmedtech is seeking an Ecommerce Buying Assistant to support buying and range management across pharmacy categories. You will help manage online assortments, coordinate supplier information, and assist with seasonal launches while working closely with Customer Service, Fulfilment and Finance teams.

You will analyse sales and stock, monitor pricing, and support promotional planning to maximise online sales and profitability across Vitamin, Skincare, OTC and Wellness categories.

Responsibilities

• Buying & Range Management: Support the Ecommerce Buyer in managing product categories and online assortments.
• Assist in product selection and range reviews based on sales, market trends and customer demand.
• Raise purchase orders and monitor supplier deliveries to ensure product availability.
• Source and range best-in-class products for pharmacy websites.
• Maintain accurate product and supplier information within internal systems.
• Support launches of new products and seasonal ranges.
• Partner with Customer Service, Fulfilment and Finance to resolve enquiries.
• Weekly warehouse calls to review outstanding queries.
• Research trends and new suppliers to attract customers and boost profitability.
• Assist in seasonal projects (e.g., Christmas campaigns).
• Develop eCommerce strategy for agreed Categories across channels.
• Ownership for categories (e.g., Vitamins, Skincare, OTC, Wellness, Healthcare and Beauty).
• Analyse weekly sales, stock and margin reports and provide insights.
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to increase sales.
• Support promotional planning and execution across ecommerce channels.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and monitor competitor prices.
• Forecast demand and stock requirements.
• Supplier Management: Build relationships, coordinate product info, imagery and marketing content.
• Track supplier performance relating to availability, delivery, and commercial agreements.
• Ecommerce Merchandising: Ensure listings are accurate and optimised for online customers.
• Collaborate with Digital and Marketing to support campaigns and product launches.
• Monitor availability and minimise out-of-stock issues.
• Assist with category merchandising to improve customer experience and conversion.
• Reporting & Administration: Prepare regular sales, stock and category performance reports.
• Improve internal and external purchasing procedures.
• Maintain buying records and documentation.
• Support budget tracking and promotional planning.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and category reviews.
