Job Description

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team, working with children from 6 months to 12 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

• Deliver high-quality care and education for children in line with Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
• Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Assist with daily routines, observations, and record-keeping in compliance with Tusla requirements.
• Work as part of a team to plan and implement engaging activities that meet children’s interests and developmental needs.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award in Early Childhood Care & Education (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Garda Vetting and two written references.

Desirable

• Higher qualification (QQI Level 6 or above) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, or HACCP training.
• Experience working across different age groups, including babies, toddlers, preschool, and school-aged children.
