Job summary

The Door Talent is recruiting on behalf of a small, welcoming childcare service in Midleton for a Preschool Educator to join their close-knit team in a calm setting on the edge of town, where children truly come first.

This is a full-time, permanent role caring for children aged 3-6 in the Preschool room. Opening hours are 7:30am - 6:30pm, averaging ~39 hours per week. Local accommodation is limited, so local candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Learning & Care / Childcare.
• Level 7+ qualification preferred.
• Experience with children aged 3-6 is desirable.
• Ideally residing locally to Midleton, accommodating locally is limited.

We are recruiting on behalf of a small, welcoming childcare service in Midleton for a Preschool Educator to join their close-knit team in a calm setting on the edge of town, where children truly come first.

About The Service

This is a small, welcoming childcare provider based in Midleton, made up of three connected services - Creche, Preschool and School Age - so staff have real opportunities to broaden their experience, develop new skills and grow within the company over time. The atmosphere is warm and family-like, with strong friendships and genuine teamwork among staff.

The Role

• Caring for children aged 3-6 years in the Preschool room
• Full-time, permanent contract
• Opening hours are 7:30am - 6:30pm
• Approximately 39 hours per week
• Closed for 2 weeks at Christmas (in line with the school calendar), Good Friday, and bank holidays
• You will work as a practitioner within the room team
