Job summary

Raphoe Community Playgroup is seeking a Childcare Assistant / AIM Support for the ECCE room. The role supports play-based learning and child development in a 20-hour weekly schedule, with a focus on health and wellbeing.

Applicants should have QQI Level 5 in Childcare, strong communication, and teamwork, and be willing to undergo Garda Vetting. The position is based in Raphoe, Castle Road, with closing date 21 July 2026.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Childcare (minimum QQI level 5).
• Fun nature and kind personality.
• An enthusiastic attitude to working with children.
• Excellent interaction and communication skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of Aistear (NCCA), Siolta and the preschool regulations.
• Must be Motivated and a Team Player.
• Experience is an advantage.
