Full Job Description

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with over 5 years of experience in testing insurance applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in test automation of complex applications and a proven track record of collaborating closely with business units and development teams. The candidate must possess excellent problem-solving skills, be creative, self-motivated, and capable of delivering on mission-critical projects within tight deadlines and competing priorities.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with business units and software development teams to identify testing requirements.
  2. Develop and maintain test strategies, scenarios, and automation processes aligned with project and organizational standards.
  3. Create test scenarios and implement automated functional tests serving as acceptance criteria for new features and applications.
  4. Work with support teams to reproduce production issues and identify gaps in regression testing.
  5. Enhance testing processes through new tools, strategies, or techniques.
  6. Design, develop, and implement long-term automation strategies and frameworks to increase test coverage and reduce testing timelines.
  7. Execute test suites, analyze results, and oversee defect management, including timely defect reporting and tracking.
  8. Collect and communicate testing metrics effectively.
  9. Participate in daily stand-ups, iteration planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Qualifications & Skills
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4-5 years of QA testing experience, including manual and automated testing, with tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, GIT, Jenkins.
  • At least 2 years of full-time experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Expertise in SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate technical issues to diverse audiences.
  • Experience testing client-server and web applications throughout their lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of financial securities and trading principles is a plus.
  • Leadership experience, including project prioritization, stakeholder communication, and mentoring.
  • Team-oriented attitude with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
