Job description

Ashgrove Renewables, Est. 2001, is well established within the renewable energy sector nationwide.

In 2021, following the launch of a Home Energy Upgrade division in partnership with the SEAI, we have significantly expanded our business and plan for further growth in 2025 and 2026.

This growth is driven by generous grants and aligns with the government's obligation and plan to upgrade 500,000 Irish homes by 2030.

In line with our expansion strategy, we have purchased a larger facility, currently being upgraded, comprising offices and a warehouse. These facilities will feature a showroom, training facilities, customer meeting rooms, and virtual meeting pods to meet the increasing demand for online consultations and presentations.

Field Service Engineer Role

The ideal candidate for this role will have a natural troubleshooting and solution-driven mindset, with strong interpersonal skills and the highest attention to detail.

You will be a highly motivated, flexible individual capable of working independently and managing your own schedule. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide comprehensive on-site service to customers, including commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating, and validating all products and services within our offerings.
  2. Undertake post-installation commissioning inspections.
  3. Schedule site inspections.
  4. Log and file job reports using our online CRM software.
  5. Work in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  6. Provide phone and on-site troubleshooting as required.
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of renewable energy systems is desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC fields is desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills.
  • Full clean driving license and willingness to travel within the Munster region.
  • Safe Pass certification.
