About the role

Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland, part of Benefact Group, is looking for a Underwriting Admin Support to join our Dublin office.

The role involves delivering exceptional customer service as part of the underwriting team, supporting Ecclesiastical’s "right first time" approach. This position is suitable for someone aiming to build or continue a career in insurance.

Key responsibilities
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage your own work to meet objectives and SLAs
  • Input data accurately, recognizing and correcting quality issues
  • Identify issues and escalate as per company policy
  • Build effective internal relationships to support customer service and our "right first time" approach
  • Act on audit results and improvement plans to enhance performance
  • Assist in processing renewals, new business, and mid-term adjustments according to current processes and underwriting guidelines, including fast track renewals and household policies
  • Suggest process improvements
  • Operate within the regulatory framework and escalate risks accordingly
Knowledge, skills, and experience
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • CIP or commitment to achieve within an agreed timeframe
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
