We specialise in the supply, installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting, delivered by our team of highly qualified and experienced engineers and installers.

A new and exciting opportunity is available in the Cork/West Cork area for a Field Service Engineer. We are looking for a motivated individual with a 'Can Do' attitude who is keen to join our progressive and growing company.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in the Fire Alarm Industry (desirable)
  • Experience working with Electronic/Electrical Systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and carrying equipment
  • Field service experience (desirable)
  • English speaking
  • Proficient in MS Office and/or other software programs
  • Familiarity with mobile tools & apps
  • Full Clean Driving Licence

Role Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and commissioning fire alarm protection equipment
  • Testing systems and analyzing failures
  • Consulting with engineering personnel to resolve system issues
  • Advising management on customer satisfaction and product performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service during field visits or on call
  • Build positive customer relationships and represent Allied Fire professionally
  • Manage on-site service, maintenance, and testing tasks to standards
  • Diagnose errors and technical problems, determine solutions
  • Perform preventative maintenance and recommend improvements
  • Produce detailed service reports promptly
  • Collaborate with technical and field teams
  • Understand customer needs and make appropriate recommendations
  • Provide feedback on customer requests and product performance
  • Follow company SOPs and safety practices
  • Report on process changes and improvements
