Job Summary

Please note that this position is temporary.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled professional to join a busy Community Occupational Therapy team, providing services to individuals with disabilities. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will deliver Occupational Therapy input to clients and their carers, supporting their journey towards independence at home.

The role requires excellent communication, assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for preparing assessments of needs and risks, and developing outcome-focused, evidence-based support plans.

You should be capable of managing a complex caseload independently, supporting and motivating colleagues, and participating in the Duty System. A sound knowledge of community care legislation and evidence of Continuing Professional Development are essential. A driving license is required as travel within East Dunbartonshire is necessary.

Applicants must hold a Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with HCPC. The successful candidate will undergo Reference, Criminal Records, and PVG checks.
