A temporary position in a busy Community Occupational Therapy team is available, focusing on providing services to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will deliver therapy input, manage caseloads, and develop support plans, requiring strong communication and analytical skills.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled professional to join a busy Community Occupational Therapy team, providing services to individuals with disabilities. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will deliver Occupational Therapy input to clients and their carers, supporting their journey towards independence at home.
The role requires excellent communication, assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for preparing assessments of needs and risks, and developing outcome-focused, evidence-based support plans.
You should be capable of managing a complex caseload independently, supporting and motivating colleagues, and participating in the Duty System. A sound knowledge of community care legislation and evidence of Continuing Professional Development are essential. A driving license is required as travel within East Dunbartonshire is necessary.
Applicants must hold a Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with HCPC. The successful candidate will undergo Reference, Criminal Records, and PVG checks.
