Job summary

A leading energy organisation is seeking an engineer based in Cork or Dublin to manage the design for compressor stations. You will handle both preliminary and detailed designs, overseeing outsourced engineering providers for quality assurance. A degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Instrumentation Engineering and at least 2 years' relevant experience are essential. The position offers a hybrid work model with a 35-hour workweek.

Job description

Opportunity to join leading energy organisation, hybrid working, 35-hour week based either in Cork or Dunlin offices. You will be responsible for the preliminary and detailed design of the E&I content of compressor stations. Additional responsibilities may include capital and operational projects for price control (refurbishment, replacement, maintenance, upgrades) compressors and related equipment. You will manage the design element of projects (end to end) and outsourced engineering providers ensuring a high quality design service is delivered.

Experience

Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering (Level 8) with at least 2 years’ post graduate experience in an engineering role in Gas or ATEX environment is essential. Ability to work with others to ensure success in the performance of a team.
