Job summary

CareerSteps Consulting is sourcing experienced eDiscovery/Forensic Technology professionals in Dublin for roles spanning analyst to director levels. You will help clients meet legal and regulatory challenges with advanced e-discovery and forensic solutions, engaging across data collection, processing, and review.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Relativity/Nuix, strong SQL and Python skills, and a proven ability to lead complex projects in litigation, investigations, and DSARs.

On behalf of our clients, we are looking to recruit experienced eDiscovery/Forensic Tech professionals, from Analyst, Consultant, Technical Specialist, Solicitors – Litigation and Dispute Resolution (eDiscovery), Manager, Senior Manager to Director/Head of level.

Current roles are with large legal services companies, law firms, advisory, consulting, Legal Technology and alternative legal service providers [ALSPs].

Roles will involve helping clients meet their dynamic legal and regulatory challenges with innovative e-discovery/Forensic Technology solutions. Successful candidates will have ;

• significant e-discovery/Forensics skills and experience with strong exposure of e-discovery projects, data collection, data investigation and data manipulation aspects as well as case management.
• Proven experience in eDiscovery, forensic technology, litigation support, or digital forensics, with strong knowledge of the full EDRM lifecycle.
• Ability to manage complex workstreams in litigation, regulatory, or investigations, DSARs [Data Subject Access Requests], DFIR [Digital Forensics and Incident Response]
• Hands-on expertise with RelativityOne administration and configuration and familiarity with forensic tools such as Relativity, Nuix, EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, Brainspace or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of legal technology, data privacy regulations (including GDPR), defensible evidence handling, and enterprise data sources like Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms.
• Forensic Data Analytics & Expert-level proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL) and advanced Python programming for data extraction, analysis, and automation.
• Demonstrated experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Qlik, LookerStudio, or Power BI, and familiarity with Big Data technologies like Apache Hive, Spark, or Presto.
• Mix of deep technical expertise with commercial leadership.
• Client facing – Developing and implementing advanced AI-driven solutions using machine learning, NLP, computer vision, and other techniques
• Build, coach, mentor and retain a high-performing team of managers, seniors, and analysts across eDiscovery, DFIR, data engineering, and analytics
• Take charge of complex, high-stakes forensic technology engagements across investigations, litigation & arbitration, regulatory matters and integrity transformations.
• Strong expertise in data analytics, machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and forensic technology including digital forensics and eDiscovery.
• Proficiency in database technologies and programming languages such as MS SQL, Python, Java, or C#, with knowledge of AI technologies including Generative AI and prompt engineering.
• Relevant certifications: Relativity Expert/Master, ACEDS, EnCE, GCFA/GCFE, CCE, CFCE, CFE, CISSP, Security+, Azure/AWS certs.

For all roles, you will have experience of all stages of eDiscovery process

Data Processing, Collection, Discovery, Review, Productions. Deliver end-to-end eDiscovery, full lifecycle project management, and other document review services.

Preferred Skills/Experience.

• Prior experience in the digital forensics or eDiscovery, Forensic Technology, either in consulting, advisory, legal firm or Legal Services company or a private corporate company [Experience of working in; Consulting, Law-firms, BIG4, In-House, ALSPs]
• EDRM [Electronic Discovery Reference Model] lifecycle
• eDiscovery Platforms such as Relativity, NUIX, Ringtail, Reveal
• Review Management
• Manage large eDiscovery projects from the initial scoping through to conclusion/archiving
• Digital Forensics tools, Encase, Cellebrite, Nuix, FTK etc.
• Contributing to digital innovation projects and strategic process optimisation
• Strong communicator that can perform a client facing role and client management and relationship-building skills [Liaise directly with clients to provide project updates, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction with all aspects of delivery].
• Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational database technologies is an advantage.
