Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Ireland is seeking an Off-site Warehouse Operative to load and unload shipments, operate the inventory management system and assist in GDP and safety compliance. You will handle 10-tonne forklift operations and maintain accurate stock checks at the Robinhood Road site.

Daily work pattern is 8:00–16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 8:00–15:30 on Friday; occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in handling large crated items in a busy warehouse.
• 1 year experience in inventory management systems.
• Leaving certificate is a minimum requirement.

Responsibilities

• Load / unload all inbound / outbound shipments
• Operate inventory management system
• Adhere to DGF H&S policy
• Maximise warehouse space utilisation
• Operate machinery as required (10 Tonne forklift)
• Partake in cycle counts and stock checks
