Job summary

Whitbread PLC– Premier Inn in Dublin City Centre (Temple Bar) is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the hotel during shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams to ensure a great guest stay.

You’ll manage guest requests, coach staff, and collaborate with the Hotel Manager. The role offers a permanent contract with guaranteed hours and a clear path to future hotel management opportunities.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; candidates from retail, supermarkets, hospitality, or customer service are welcome.
• Must be confident making decisions, enjoy helping people and stay calm when busy.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and restaurant and brief the team.
• Coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and resolve issues.
• Support different teams from reception to restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
