Job summary

O’Flynn Medical Ltd is a high growth healthcare supplier seeking a Driver/Installer to join the team. You will collect contaminated equipment, deliver decontaminated equipment, and instruct clients on equipment use, while maintaining vehicle standards and reporting faults.

Location is Mid Munster Area (Macroom and surroundings). A full, clean licence, ability to work unsupervised and Garda Vetting are required; overnight stays may be necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year driving experience.
  • Full, clean, valid driving licence.
  • Drivers must demonstrate excellent driving skills and road safety awareness.
  • Ability to work unsupervised while delivering high-quality service.
  • Manual Handling training is preferable but not essential.
  • Garda Vetting will be required prior to appointment.
  • Computer literate with in-house training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Collect contaminated equipment from clients’ homes.
  • Deliver decontaminated equipment to clients’ homes.
  • Instruct clients on use of equipment per SLAs.
  • Maintain van cleanliness and loading order for routes.
  • Record deliveries/collections and obtain signatures.
  • Report faults or service needs for the van.

Job snapshot

O’Flynn Medical Ltdcurrently have a requirement for a Driver / Installer. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a leading Healthcare company. The candidate must be highly motivated and dedicated. The successful candidate will report directly to the Driver Installer Team Lead and will work with teams across the organisation.

Candidate Location:Preferred candidate location is Mid Munster Area – (Macroom and surrounding areas)

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities are not limited to but will include:

  • Collect contaminated equipment from client’s homes.

  • Deliver Decontaminated Equipment to client’s homes.

  • Instruct clients on use of equipment as per Service Level Agreements per area

  • Perform all tasks in a timely manner ensuring all deadlines are met.

  • Handle all medical equipment with appropriate care on both delivery and collection.

  • Loading the van to match the order of drop off points on the delivery route.

  • Collecting signatures on delivery and collection from clients.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle.

  • Report all faults, services to the van

What are the role requirements?

  • Minimum of 1 years experience driving.

  • Full, clean, valid driving licence.

  • Drivers need to demonstrate excellent driving skills and road safety awareness.

  • Ability to work unsupervised whilst delivering a high-quality service.

  • Manual Handling training is preferable but not essential.

  • Personal appearance and company uniform to be always kept at a high standard.

  • All Staff will require to pass Garda Vetting prior to appointment.

  • Computer literate but in-house training will be provided.

  • Flexibility required for overnight stays.
