Job summary

College Biofuels is seeking a Driver to join the Biofuel's Team at our Nobber site and contribute to its sustainable operations in County Meath, Ireland. You will safely collect used cooking oil from commercial properties, transport to the Biodiesel plant, and perform routine vehicle checks while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Flexibility with start/finish times, a clean driving licence, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of used cooking oil from customer locations.
• Operate a van or truck, perform daily vehicle checks, keep vehicle clean.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and address queries.
• Complete required paperwork, logs, receipts, and stock sheets.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene procedures and report incidents.
• Assist with yard operations and loading/unloading of oil containers.
• Plan and optimise delivery and collection routes.
• Carry out ad hoc duties as requested by management.

College Biofuels is a renewable energy company producing sustainable, environmentally friendly fuel for the transport and heating sectors.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Driverto join the Biofuel's Team. This position will be an integral part of our operation and will involve safely collecting used cooking oil (UCO) from commercial properties and transporting to our Biodiesel plant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collection and Delivery:Conduct multi-drop collections of used cooking oil from designated customer locations.
• Vehicle Operations:Operate a van or truck to transport collected oil, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure the vehicle is clean and secure.
• Customer Interaction:Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any queries or issues that may arise.
• Paperwork & Stock Control:Accurately complete all required paperwork, including collection logs, delivery receipts, and stock reconciliation sheets.
• Safety & Compliance:Adhere strictly to all company health, safety, and hygiene procedures, and report any incidents.
• Yard Operations:Assist with yard operations as needed, including the loading and unloading of oil containers.
• Route Planning:Plan and optimise delivery and collection routes to ensure efficiency.
• Ad hoc duties: Carry out other ad hoc duties as requested by Management.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Driving License:A valid clean driver's license is required.
• Physical Fitness:Ability to perform manual handling and load/unload containers.
