Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents across our Irish operations. You will help residents enter and exit vehicles, ensure safety, and support activities when not driving.

The role emphasizes careful driving, adherence to safety protocols, and reliable service. A driver’s license and CPR as required are part of the qualifications, with competitive pay and benefits in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CPR certification as required.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to stay calm in emergencies.
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings for residents.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.
