Job summary

Walker Cole International is partnering with a fast-growing biopharmaceutical company to hire a Downstream Expert. You will own downstream process development across multiple biologic modalities, acting as technical supervisor on projects and coordinating with client teams from planning through delivery.

In this role, you will lead process development across downstream processes for mAbs, vaccines and viral vectors, drive scale-up strategy from pilot to GMP, and ensure timelines are met through

Qualifications

• Experience in downstream biologic process development for multiple modalities.
• Experience with process design, process development or MS&T.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience across multiple modalities is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead downstream process development across activities for mAbs, vaccines and viral vectors.
• Own drug substance and drug product downstream development end to end.
• Lead scale-up strategy from pilot scale to GMP manufacturing.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA and project management to meet timelines.
• Act as technical supervisor, presenting progress and results to client teams.
