Job summary

WuXi Biologics in Ireland is seeking a Senior Process Engineer MFG 7 Upstream or Downstream to help establish the Manufacturing Technology team and provide engineering support for MFG 7 UPS or DPS. You will drive process improvements, oversee equipment verification/validation, support CQV, and collaborate with Core Engineering and plant operations to deliver Right First Time performance.

The role requires 8+ years in biopharma, knowledge of cGMP, DeltaV MCS, and strong cross-functional

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in large-scale biopharmaceutical facilities.
• Experience establishing a Manufacturing Technology team in greenfield context.
• Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functional.
• Thorough knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Responsibilities

• Support site start-up and project activities (vendor management, verification/validation).
• Coordinate equipment verification, validation and revalidation.
• Provide routine automation support and troubleshooting.
• Champion continuous improvement and energy saving programs.
• Lead cross-functional investigations and CAPA.
• Support audit readiness and compliance.
