MADURA'S RESTAURANT & CAFE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced South Indian Dosa & Prata Cook for our busy Little India, Singapore restaurant. You will expertly prepare dosa, prata, parotta and tiffin items while managing orders during peak service periods.

Ideal candidates have strong practical skills in dosa/prata preparation, batter fermentation, and maintaining consistent taste and quality in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in South Indian dosa, prata and tiffin preparation.

Responsibilities

• Dosa, Prata & South Indian tiffin preparation.
• Prepare dosa varieties (plain, masala, ghee, onion, rava, podi, etc.).
• Prepare authentic prata and parotta varieties and accompaniments.
• Manage dosa and idli batters, fermentation and quality control.
• Prepare sambar, chutneys, kurma and gravies.
• Independently run dosa, prata and hotplate stations during service.
• Handle high-volume orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth lines.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards.
