Qualifications

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development.

• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience with full software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate distributed control plane services for Amazon's OLTP storage platform.
• Collaborate with engineers to define solutions for complex problems.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features from design through deployment.
• Build and maintain monitoring and automation for operational excellence.
• Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot production issues.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and efficiency.
