Specsavers Swords, based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced or newly qualified Dispensing Optician to join our team. You will help ensure patients have an excellent experience by guiding eyewear selection and providing skilled clinical service.

Qualifications

Specsavers in Swords are looking for an experienced or newly qualified Dispensing Optician to join them. The focus at this store, is about pulling together and working as a team to ensure that our valued patients have an excellent experience. Based in the Palivion Shopping centre, we’re fully equipped with 3 test rooms, the latest clinical technology (including OCT),

Our team

We have an experienced team of 18, which includes fully trained optical assistants, so everything is in place to let you focus on what you do best.

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role.Firstly, you’ll need a BSc (HONS) in Ophthalmic Dispensing and an excellent understanding of both the optics and audiology customer journeys

You’ll need to be CORU-registered, with the drive, passion, and willingness to build upon our customer-focused culture. As part of our team, you’ll need to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll need to demonstrate good attention to detail along with a passion for the community. Teamwork also forms a big part of our culture, so the ability to work well with others is essential.
