Job summary
Kare is hiring for Residential Disability Service Positions in Co. Kildare. Permanent contracts, 37.5 hours weekly, with opportunities across our adult services and Children's Respite Service.
The role focuses on person-centred planning, meaningful outcomes, and community inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The successful candidates will have relevant nursing qualifications, NMBI registration, a full manual driving licence, and the ability to work in Ireland without
Qualifications
- A recognised validated university degree or equivalent in Intellectual Disability Nursing, General Nursing, or Paediatric Nursing.
- Must be registered with NMBI.
- Full, manual driver's licence.
Responsibilities
- Complete Assessment of Need for individuals.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a person’s Individual Support Plan.
- Plan and assess health care needs and support staff to follow care plans.
- Support individuals to achieve goals across life areas: personal care, work, leisure, lifelong learning and community inclusion.
- Maintain communications with the team, families and support networks.
- Keep records according to Kare policies.
- Deliver staff training as required.
