Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Director to define the technology strategy and delivery model for mongodb.com, and to lead a cross-functional team including Web Engineers and Product Managers. Qualifications

• 10+ years leading large-scale web platform engineering, software development lifecycles, or enterprise website modernization initiatives.
• Deep expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites and enterprise-scale implementations.
• Experience with Adobe ecosystem (Target, RT-CDP, AEM Assets) preferred.
• Proven ability to lead distributed engineering teams and blended internal/contractor teams.
• Strong execution skills across roadmap planning, Agile delivery, release management, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term vision, architecture, roadmap, and operating model for MongoDB's web platform.
• Lead the migration to Adobe Experience Manager and integrate Adobe Experience Cloud for personalization and content delivery.
• Establish modern engineering practices across CI/CD, automation, QA, security, and accessibility.
• Lead globally distributed teams and contractor partners with a focus on technical excellence.
• Identify and pilot AI capabilities to improve customer experiences and engineering productivity.
• Partner with marketing, design, and product teams to optimize digital experiences and conversions.
• Own site reliability, performance, observability, SEO, and scalable architecture.
