The successful candidate will drive quality improvement, ensure HIQA compliance, and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff, with strong emphasis on governance and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• NMBI registration is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience at management level.
• Provide details and evidence of all relevant qualifications or accredited training.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, leadership and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing home to ensure smooth, efficient, and person-centred care delivery.
• Supervise and support nursing and care staff, ensuring high standards of professional practice.
• Ensure the highest standards of clinical and personal care are maintained for all residents.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve care quality through audits, feedback, and continuous professional development.
• Manage compliance with HIQA regulations and standards, ensuring policies reflect best practice.
• Prepare for and coordinate HIQA inspections, implementing recommendations effectively.
• Promote and maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation with regular risk assessments and training.
