Job summary

Citi in Dublin is seeking a Product Architect (Director) to lead the MRD Common Platform Transformation and a small team of architects. This role drives cloud-first AWS and Databricks architectures for enterprise data across Legal Entities, Customers, Accounts, Product Agreements, and Market Data.

The candidate negotiates at a senior level, delivering incremental, Agile deployments and earning trust through transparent governance and high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification required; AI/ML certifications preferred.
• 15+ years in enterprise data architecture or software engineering.
• 8-10+ years managing highly skilled technical teams.
• Ability to maintain momentum and minimize attrition through leadership.
• Deep understanding of modern engineering practices (Active-Active, Blue-Green, Serverless).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a 3-5 year product architectural roadmap for MRD platform.
• Lead design of high-performance data ingestion, distribution, and access with Databricks.
• Direct and mentor a team of senior Product Architects.
• Partner with senior stakeholders globally to align platform with business priorities.
• Provide architectural governance for multi-year programs with budgets over $20MM.
• Ensure risk, security, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with AWS/Databricks teams to drive platform innovation.
• Ensure operational stability and disaster recovery for the MRD platform.
