Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland in Dublin city centre seeks a Director of Enterprise Applications to build and lead an Enterprise Applications CoE centred on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The role combines senior platform ownership with governance, design standards and an operating model to manage D365 and the wider Microsoft ecosystem beyond go-live.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience across Enterprise Applications or technology transformation.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Strong knowledge of the wider Microsoft technology stack, including Power Platform, Power BI, Dataverse, Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Proven experience building and leading a Dynamics 365 / Enterprise Applications CoE from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Enterprise Applications CoE from the ground up, defining the operating model, governance, team structure, processes, standards and ways of working.
• Provide strategic ownership and direction for D365 F&O and the wider Microsoft stack, including Power Platform, Power BI, Dataverse, Azure and Copilot.
• Establish and lead D365 governance and design authority, covering solution design, configuration, integrations, data, security, customisation and release management.
• Lead end-to-end business process design and standardisation, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient and aligned with business requirements.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary Enterprise Applications team.
• Build strong relationships with senior business, Finance, Operations and Technology stakeholders, influencing decisions and challenging requirements where appropriate.
• Own the D365 roadmap and continuous improvement backlog, balancing strategic priorities, business demand, technical debt and platform health.
• Drive adoption, change and value realisation, ensuring D365 delivers measurable operational and business outcomes.
• Oversee data governance, master data, integrations, reporting and platform standards.
• Manage Microsoft's D365 release cycle and identify opportunities across Power Platform, automation, AI/Copilot and analytics.
• Manage strategic relationships with Microsoft, systems integrators and managed service providers.

Director of Enterprise Applications – Dynamics 365

My Dublin City Centre based client is seeking an experienced Director of Enterprise Applications to build and lead an Enterprise Applications Centre of Excellence (CoE) from the ground up, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) at its core.

This is a senior platform ownership role responsible for establishing the people, processes, governance, design standards and operating model required to manage D365 and the wider Microsoft ecosystem beyond implementation and go-live.

The successful candidate will combine deep Microsoft and D365 F&O expertise with strong business process and solution design capability, exceptional stakeholder management and proven people leadership.

They will have successfully built a CoE from the ground up and understand how to establish the people, processes, governance and design disciplines required to turn D365 from an ERP implementation into a sustainable enterprise capability.

They will combine strong D365 F&O and Microsoft-stack knowledge with excellent process design, stakeholder management and leadership skills, and will be comfortable challenging complexity and driving standardisation across the organisation.
