Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead design, implementation and integration across a major technology transformation. You will work within the Business Technology team, partnering with stakeholders from delivery, QA and operations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in design and architecture, ERP experience with Dynamics 365 BC/CE, and strong knowledge of Azure and the Power Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in design and architecture, preferably with solution delivery.
• Proven track record in leading design and implementation of large-scale enterprise applications.
• ERP experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or older versions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Business Central modules.
• Understanding of cloud computing, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Experience with SOA, microservices and API design.
• Generative AI experience would be advantageous.

Our client is an established professional organisation currently undertaking a significant technology and digital transformation programme. The organisation is investing in new technology solutions to modernise user experiences, streamline processes and enhance how services are delivered across the business.

Summary of Role

The organisation is at the beginning of a major transformation journey to introduce new technology solutions that support its customers, users and internal teams.

As a Solutions Architect, you will be a member of the Business Technology team and report to the Head of Strategy, Design and Delivery, who in turn reports to the CIO.

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to play a key lead role in the design, implementation and integration of an evolving technology landscape.

As part of the transformation programme, core legacy systems are being replaced with Microsoft

Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)

Business Central

and Business Central, alongside other significant technology initiatives.

The Solutions Architect will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation, including suppliers, Project Management, Delivery, QA and Operations teams, to ensure solutions align with organisational goals and technical requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Design & Architecture, ideally with experience in Solution Delivery/Development.
• Proven track record in leading the design and implementation of large-scale enterprise applications.
• ERP experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or earlier versions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Business Central modules.
• Understanding of cloud computing, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices and API design.
• Experience implementing solutions using Generative AI would be an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Experience across multiple technology layers, including database, backend, integration and UX.
• Understanding of network and security architecture.
• Knowledge of data integration patterns and best practices.
• Knowledge of data management, data analytics and business intelligence tools.
• TOGAF or similar architecture certification would be an advantage.
