Job summary

Sarepta Therapeutics is seeking a Director of Medical Engagement Lead to serve as the primary medical and strategic contact for international neuromuscular KOLs outside the US. You will shape engagement strategies, generate actionable insights and represent Sarepta in global scientific forums.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree required (MD/PhD or equivalent).
• Significant Medical Affairs leadership experience at regional/global level.
• Proven track record building relationships with national and international KOLs.
• Experience supporting clinical development programs and trial design.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop international KOL engagement strategies across disease areas and regions.
• Serve as medical liaison to international key opinion leaders and investigators outside the US.
• Build and expand strategic relationships with neuromuscular thought leaders.
• Translate external scientific insights into strategic recommendations for medical strategy.
• Provide scientific leadership for advisory boards, investigator meetings and congress activities.
• Deliver high-quality scientific discussions on disease state education and pipelines.
• Support ongoing clinical trials with investigator engagement and site start-up.
• Drive investigator-initiated research and evidence generation initiatives.
• Monitor emerging literature and practice trends to inform strategy.
• Collaborate across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Operations, Advocacy and Commercial teams.
