Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
• Minimum 9 years' biopharmaceutical manufacturing/ development with leadership.
• Deep expertise in biologics, downstream manufacturing, process equipment, and automation.
• Experience in biologics drug substance development, technical operations, and new product introduction.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Downstream Technical Operations, delivering expertise across cell banking, clinical manufacturing, and commercial operations.
• Oversee technology transfer, development/PPQ batches, change control, and regulatory license implementation.
• Ensure line-of-sight and execution of new product introductions from a Downstream perspective.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, with timely escalation to stakeholders.
• Own Downstream lifecycle management for in-line products, driving improvements and robustness.
• Champion deployment of digital tools and data-driven solutions in downstream operations.
