Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Director of Security Engineering to lead the Blockchain and Digital Solutions security team. You will drive security strategy for Crypto Products, Blockchain Networks, and related services, partnering with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure top security, compliance, and customer trust across Mastercard's digital payments platforms.

Qualifications

Proven ability to lead technical security teams and guide secure product development.
Expertise in cryptography, blockchain security, and security-by-design practices.
Experience with SOC 2, PCI DSS, DORA or similar regulatory frameworks.

Mature security capabilities, clarify procedures, and enable scalability.
Advise engineering and business leaders on security roadmaps for crypto products.
Perform security reviews of new and existing systems against standards.
Manage security risks and reporting across programs.
Define security requirements and architecture patterns for large-scale crypto products.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
