Job summary

Emerald Airlines in Dublin is seeking an experienced Direct Entry Captain to lead the line on the ATR 72-600. This role offers a stable, permanent position with a 5:2:5:3 roster and a pathway to an ATR 72-600 Type Rating Course.

The successful candidate will operate as PIC, uphold safety and SOPs, mentor crew, and represent the airline with customers and ATC. Dublin base supports a strong earning potential and staff travel privileges.

Qualifications

• Flight time: 2,000 hours total time, including at least 1,000 hours on Large aircraft (>5,700 kg) in multi-crew commercial transport operations.
• PIC time: at least 500 recent hours as Pilot in Command.
• Licence & medical: EASA licence and current Class 1 medical.
• Right to work: Unrestricted right to live and work in Ireland.
• Language: Fluent in English.

The Opportunity

We are welcoming experienced Captains to join our Dublin base operating the ATR 72-600 across Emerald Airlines’ network. Candidates who successfully complete our selection process will be offered a place on a Type Rating Course.

Minimum Requirements

• Flight time: Minimum 2,000 hours total time, including at least 1,000 hours on large aircraft over 5,700 kg in multi-crew commercial transport operations.
• PIC time: At least 500 recent hours as Pilot in Command.
• Licence & medical: EASA licence and a current Class 1 medical.
• Right to work: Unrestricted right to live and work in Ireland.
• Language: Fluent in English.

Selection & Training

• Online Work Related Behavioral assessment.
• Interview with People and Flight Operations teams.
• Simulator assessment.
