Job summary

ABB is seeking a Digital Solutions Consultant to help customers improve throughput, energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and operational stability through advanced digital solutions. You’ll become a trusted advisor to leading industrial customers and shape high-impact optimization programs across sites.

The role focuses on translating technical insights into measurable business value, coordinating with Operations and Engineering leaders, and driving pilots that scale across North Europe.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in process control, optimization, energy, or industrial domain and digital solutions.
• Fluent English (Nordic language a plus)
• Ability to translate technical insight into business value.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customer operations and engineering leadership
• Shape high-impact digital optimization programs using ABB’s advanced portfolio
• Analyze production and energy performance to identify potential improvement
• Build clear, quantified impact value cases and ROI models

About the role

ABB is strengthening its digital advisory capability and is looking for a Digital Solutions Consultant who thrives at the intersection of process performance, advanced optimization, and customer value creation.

In this role, you become a trusted advisor to leading industrial customers, helping them unlock measurable improvements in throughput, energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and operational stability through advanced digital solutions.

Open to Candidates in various locations within Northen Europe

This is not a traditional engineering or pre-sales position.

What you’ll do

Your work directly influences strategic decisions, investment priorities, and performance outcomes across some of the most complex process industries.

What You Bring

• 5-10+ years in process control, optimization, energy, or industrial domain and digital solutions
• Demonstrated experience with APC/MPC, energy optimization, or simulation technologies
• Ability to translate technical insight into business value
• Minimum BSc in Process, Chemical, Automation, or Energy Engineering (or similar)
• Fluent English (Nordic language a plus)
