Job summary

Huawei in Dublin, Ireland, seeks a Digital FR Service Engineer to provide pre-sales testing support, train customers, and coordinate with R&D. You will work with sales teams and partners to ensure smooth commissioning of solar PV and energy storage solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM, strong English, and proven technical and service experience including channel management. You may travel for site work across Europe in a fast-growing multinational.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, preferably Electrical/Energy/Mechanical.
• Proven technical and service experience with channel management.
• Knowledge of Solar-PV or energy storage market is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work across countries and cultures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales testing support and run workshops with customers or partners on technical issues.
• Support the sales and solution teams.
• Log and track issues reported by customers.
• Train and guide customers before, during, and after construction, including kick-off meetings, hardware and software training, and acceptance testing.
• Support customers during commissioning, including technical inspection of inverter installations and corrective actions where necessary.
• Interface between customers and the R&D team to resolve any issues.
• Provide second- and third-line support.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales testing support and conduct workshops with customers or partners on technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, preferably in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Energy, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven technical and service experience, with a background in channel management.
• Knowledge of or experience in the Solar-PV and/or energy storage market is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Solid project management and operational skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
