Job summary

EXL, a global data and AI company, is seeking a Digital AI Solution Architect in Dublin with flexible hybrid work. You will design and govern agentic AI platforms across AWS/Azure/GCP, contribute to pre-sales, and guide clients with scalable AI solutions.

The role requires 8+ years architecting AI solutions, strong Python/React/Java skills, and deep cloud experience. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, build reusable blueprints, and help shape EXL's digital AI strategy across industries.

Qualifications

Role Title: Digital AI Solution Architect

Location: Dublin, Republic of Ireland (Flexible hybrid working)

Employment Type: Permanent

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

• Design, document and govern state-of-the-art agentic solutions and platforms leveraging services available in AWS, Azure and GCP as well as 3rd party agentic frameworks and tools such as NVIDIA Nemo, Langsmith, Langfuse and Temporal.
• Provide reusable blueprints, documentation and guidelines to drive excellence and consistency in our solutions across engineering teams and collateral for our sales teams.
• Contribute to the digital AI Solution strategy for the target industry segments
• Support solutioning during the pre-sales cycle, translating business requirements into a credible agentic solutions by providing the technical approach, architecture and delivery plan
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to prospective clients on solution feasibility, risks, integration approach and scalability ahead of contract signature
• Foster deep relationships with technical stakeholders at our top clients by demonstrating insight and thought leadership on application of digital in their context to help them meet their business goals
• Work with teams across the business to generate innovative AI solution opportunities
• Drive innovation across digital engineering around AI

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:

• 8+ yrs of proven track record in architecting AI solutions
• At least 6 years of experience programming with Python, React, Java, or other programming languages
• Solution architecture (features, functionalities, upstream & downstream impact on the AI workflow)
• Technical architecture (data flow, technologies, how they interact and integrate, technology selection, scalability, security)
• Agentic Architecture (Multi-agent orchestration, intelligent routing, state management, evaluation, cost and performance optimization)
• Strong expertise in AWS or Azure
• Demonstrated experience in working with both senior business and technology stakeholders
• Familiarity with building large-scale AI products or platforms for NLP, speech, computer vision, or recommendation systems serving millions of users

Skills and Personal attributes we would like to have:

• Have deep expertise with full stack application and solution development and engineering best practices
• Experience architecting AI agentic solutions that use well-managed core APIs and SDKs to access LLMs and foundational models
• Solutioning and engineering skills in one of the primary Cloud hyper-scalers with a preference for AWS or Azure skills
• Experience with Nvidia Nemo frameworks for model development and agentic solutions beneficial
• Cloud engineering skills including security and disaster recovery, storage, networking, virtualization, containerization, orchestration, Linux, web services, APIs, and DevOps
• Experience architecting, building and deploying AI solutions. Understanding of the primary services leveraged in building and deploying, at scale, cloud-native agentic applications and platforms
• Think innovatively and design and deliver client oriented digital AI solutions
• Lead conversations on digital AI solutions with senior technical leaders at our clients
• Be the trusted advisor to clients on the technical details of our AI solutions
• Skilled in collaborating cross-functionally with geo-distributed stakeholders
• Comfortable presenting to stakeholders both internally and external
