Job summary

Scurri Ltd in Wexford is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen AWS infrastructure, improve deployment pipelines and embed security into the development lifecycle across our cloud-based services.

Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, you will design secure architectures, patch vulnerabilities, integrate AI tools into CI/CD, and participate in on-call rotations to maintain high availability while collaborating with software teams to deliver resilient, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevSecOps, SRE or Cloud Security roles.
• Hands-on AWS and IaC experience.
• Security architecture, vulnerability remediation and patching skills.
• Software development and automation experience.
• Experience with observability, monitoring and Git.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents and secure code verification.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure.
• Write code to remediate security vulnerabilities in apps and services.
• Apply security patches to cloud infra, OS, and dependencies.
• Integrate AI tools into CI/CD for automated build-error resolution and predictive deployment.
• Build infrastructure using IaC principles.
• Implement agentic workflows and automated log analysis for faster root-cause.
• Join on-call rotation to handle incidents and outages.
• Create runbooks and playbooks for incident response and infra management.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security in the lifecycle.
• Monitor costs, performance, and reliability; optimise resources.
• Evaluate new security tools, cloud services and automation frameworks.
