Job summary

Scurri Ltd is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to secure AWS infrastructure, automate pipelines, and patch vulnerabilities across services. You’ll collaborate with software teams to embed security into the development lifecycle and participate in on-call rotations to maintain high availability.

The role emphasizes IaC, AI-assisted automation, and cost-aware cloud operations within a high-growth retail tech environment in Ireland.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in DevSecOps, SRE or Cloud Security in B2B SaaS preferred.
• Strong hands-on AWS and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Proven security architecture, vulnerability remediation and patching skills.
• Software development and automation experience.
• Experience with observability, monitoring and Git.
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents with verification and security checks.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure.
• Write code to repair security vulnerabilities in apps and services.
• Apply security patches to cloud infra, OS and dependencies.
• Integrate AI tools into CI/CD for automated build-error resolution and dynamic testing.
• Build and manage infrastructure using IaC principles.
• Implement agentic workflows and automated log analysis for on-call incidents.
• Join on-call rotation to respond to production incidents.
• Create runbooks and incident response docs.
• Partner with developers to embed security in SDLC.
• Monitor costs, performance, and reliability; optimize resources.
• Evaluate new security tools and automation frameworks.
