Job summary

Vantage Resources is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a 12-month contract in Ireland, with hybrid work. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrate security tooling, and promote DevSecOps practices across engineering teams.

The role requires 3+ years in DevSecOps, strong Kubernetes/OpenShift experience, and collaboration across product and Agile teams. Security vetting is required and the position offers exposure to a Modern Engineering Platform across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in DevSecOps or DevOps Engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerisation.
• Experience with Git, ArgoCD, and Azure DevOps Services.
• Knowledge of security tooling such as SonarQube, Clair, ZAProxy, and HashiCorp Vault.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines across multiple applications.
• Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, and automated vulnerability analysis).
• Promote DevOps/DevSecOps culture and best practices with product and engineering teams.
• Provide guidance on DevSecOps standards, processes, and engineering practices.
• Implement and monitor DORA metrics across the engineering delivery process.
• Drive continuous improvement across DevSecOps tooling, security coverage, and engineering processes.
• Design and operationally manage CI/CD pipelines across Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Support product teams migrating existing applications towards microservice-oriented architectures.

• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Podman, and/or Skopeo
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, product, and Agile teams
