Job summary

Cbase Inc in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a DevOps Lead to define and own our DevOps strategy, toolchain, and delivery infrastructure across the organisation, with an initial MES programme focus bridging development, operations and quality in a regulated manufacturing setting. We are looking for someone who understands the full development lifecycle and can translate that into a robust DevOps strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience defining and implementing a DevOps strategy for complex enterprise software.
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong infrastructure‑as‑code knowledge (Terraform, Ansible) and env management.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
• Experience in regulated industries with CSV/GxP awareness.
• Excellent problem-solving under pressure in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and continuously evolve our DevOps strategy, defining the target toolchain and automation approach.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across development, test, and production environments.
• Own the DevOps toolchain—source control, build automation, release management, and observability.
• Define branching strategies and release standards appropriate to a regulated environment.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to translate platform architecture into IaC and deployment automation.
• Lead environment management across the MES programme, ensuring correct configuration and traceability.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to provide operational visibility of MES health.
• Drive shift-left quality practices and support CSV/audit trails in line with GxP requirements.
