Job summary

Zinkworks invites a hands-on DevOps Engineer to partner with development teams to build, operate, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. You will own end-to-end CI/CD, work with OpenShift/Kubernetes, and deploy using Helm, Docker, and Spring Cloud microservices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes.
• Experience with Helm chart development and lifecycle management.
• Containerisation with Docker.
• Good understanding of Spring Cloud ecosystem.
• Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience debugging across pipelines, containers, and clusters.
• Scripting in Bash or Python.
• Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage CI/CD pipelines end-to-end (design, implementation, maintenance).
• Work directly with development teams to integrate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Package and deploy applications using Helm on OpenShift / Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain containerised applications using Docker.
• Support and optimise Spring Cloud-based microservices deployments.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues.
• Improve deployment speed, reliability, and rollback strategies.
• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Drive best practices around CI/CD, versioning, and release management.
• Maintain clear technical documentation.
